WELCOME TO UTTOXETER LEARNING TRUST

We are a unique and expanding Multi Academy Trust comprising a high school, three middle schools and four first schools serving the families of children in and around Uttoxeter, Staffordshire. We have always worked very closely as a pyramid of schools and therefore the foundation of a MAT was the natural next step.

For parents and families, we offer choice and diversity across the MAT so that the best features of individual academies are maintained. This includes small, community based academies. As many of our schools are part of the Church of England Lichfield Diocese, we maintain a close working relationship with diocesan representatives, ensuring that we preserve the distinctive Christian character of these schools.

‘The formation of the MAT is the culmination of the real commitment of the pyramid schools over many years to work together to make a continuous and integrated educational journey from the ages 3 to 18’

ABOUTUTTOXETER LEARNING TRUST

We began our journey in April 2017 with our three founding member schools: Picknalls First School, Windsor Park CE Middle School and Thomas Alleyne’s High School.

During 2018 Oldfields Hall Middle School, Ryecroft CE Middle School, Hutchinson Memorial CE First School, All Saints CE First School and Richard Clarke First School joined to create the current membership of eight schools.

As our longer term vision states that we are looking to grow the size of the Uttoxeter Learning Trust. We want to continue to formally link with strong like-minded educationalists that can support our visions, values and ethos.

‘In the face of a diminishing Local Authority, becoming part of the ULT has provided our small school with the support and guidance from an effective Trust Board and CEO, as well as strong financial support and expertise from the CFO.’
